Sal was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, in a Bangladeshi household and community. He is currently a sophomore at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. His work has been primarily social impact driven, interning previously at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator and supporting NYC's local restaurant community with a startup called Chat with Menu. Additionally, he has gained firsthand experience navigating NYC's vibrant streets as a licensed taxi driver, further deepening his connection to the city and learning more about the industry.
