Ali Jafri was born in Bellevue, Washington, to a Pakistani Muslim household but moved to Massachusetts when he was six. He attended multiple schools in Massachusetts, from Bowman Elementary School to Robert Adams Middle School and finally to Newton South High School, where he graduated in 2023. One of his favorite internships, which he did in the summer before his sophomore year, was his Social Justice Internship with City Mission Boston.

On his own, he researched the topic of 9/11 and its effects on Muslim-Americans and presented my findings. Along with the other interns, he studied global warming, and together, they held a demonstration regarding Climate Change and its effects on our planet at Carson Beach in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Along with other people who joined in, they had a group clean-up and recycled all the litter on the beach. He is a second-year student at UC San Diego pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
